[please note that prices on photographs may not be valid when visiting the Duck]

Sparkling Italian wine is available on tap and can be served  with mixers, liqueurs or on its own.  We cannot call it  'draught Prosecco' because the Italian Government says it is only be called Prosecco if poured from a bottle. But does that make it taste different ?

Always at least three of Wharfedale's beers available, with the other pumps for guest beers.  Plenty of choice whether wanting a traditional bitter, crisp blonde or a smooth dark beer. Brewery visits can be arranged. (See the Brewery page)

Perfect for the sunny terrace upstairs  at the rear

Although well known as a real ale destination pub, with recognition from CAMRA (2015 Good Beer Guide), we also serve real ciders and pride ourselves in the selection of fine wines, speciality spirits and of course what is probably the largest selection of malt Whiskies in town.

Details of the beers are displayed in the and upstairs, together with the real ciders.  In additional several chilled lagers and craft beers are on hand including our Wharfedale Pilsner and Goose Island Beer together with a wide range of continental varieties by the bottle.

Wine is available by the glass or bottle, with further selections of wines served in the upstairs bar together with different types of gin, speciality spirits and cocktails. Prosecco is on tap (but not allowed to call it Prosecco)

Cocktails at the Duck - Upstairs on request

This is an ideal arrangement for groups or couples who cannot decide whether to go out for a cocktail before dinner, or have a decent pint.

Or deciding whether to spend an evening sharing jugs of Long-Island Ice Tea among friends or have a speciality beer.

Choices include a selection of gins and other spirits with mixers.  Even if the upstairs bar is being used for a private function, these options can be ordered at the main bar.
