Behind the Flying Duck pub is an old barn that has been restored into a micro-brewery and is home to the Wharfedale Beers.
The three 'house-beers' are the Blonde (light 'session-ale' with crisp hoppy flavours), a traditional Best bitter and a dark Black beer full of malty flavours. Specials are also brewed here, including Cascade, Gold and (coming soon) an IPA.
Blonde is also available by the bottle (as at the bar) and is available at a number of restaurants in Ilkley and surrounding areas. During summer 2015, it is hoped to start selling Best and Black in bottles as well.
The Wharfedale Brewery web-site has more details
